BREAKTHROUGH AT CHRISTMAS

countdown

Christmas time again!!!!

For many, a time of looking at advertising brochures (especially the children looking at the gifts they want), a time of spending more money than we intended, a time of eating more than we should (the main culprits usually been the Christmas mince pies, Christmas cake, Christmas puddings and the ever guilty Christmas lunch), and for some a time of rushing and working long and tiring hours.

But for us as Christians, our spiritual association of Christmas is with the Birth of Jesus

(forget about if it is the right or wrong date, that is not the debate here) (refer to my blog post: It is Christmas Time).

As Christians, during this season, we take time out to reflect on the Birth of Jesus as the Miracle of the Christmas.

Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus
See Luke 1:26-35
But as is true with the entire Bible, there are multiple revelations of one event, everyone revealing a new truth in God and His Word.
God recently showed me a revelational side of Christmas I had never in the 22 years of being saved, ever discovered.
This key can be found in Luke 1 v 34:
“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?”
We have read this line so many times over the years of Christmas and never connected Christmas with the key to breakthrough in our lives.
We know Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit, and in our minds, we immediately jump to v 35:
Luke 1 v 35
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
And we miss the importance of “how shall this be, seeing I know not a man?”
Having had a year where God told us we needed to “break every chain” in the Spirit, we’ve had to rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us during every meeting, on every camp, for every conference, in every situation we found ourselves in to be able to find the Godly key to breaking that particular stronghold we found ourselves in at that time.
God told me many people are trusting God for a Breakthrough in certain areas of their lives. But they are looking in the natural as to where the door is going to open. Or more accurately, they are looking for the “right” person, or the “right” connection or the “right” network to open doors for them. And that their breakthrough is not going to come through the “right”. Jer 17 v 5 tells us if we are not looking to God to bring about our breakthrough, but we are looking to the “right” to bring about our breakthrough, we actually open ourselves to a curse.
Jer 17 v 5
5 Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his strength and whose heart departs from the LORD (NKJV)

Your breakthrough is only going to come through the “Godly solution” of “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee”

God is saying:

“Your breakthrough is only coming through My Spirit. I will open the doors for you in ways you have not been able to reason out. Be faithful and trust Me. I will bring the breakthrough you need by My Spirit”.

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!!

Not sure if it is spiritually correct to celebrate Christmas anymore?
Is Christ still in Christmas?
Was Jesus really born on the 25 December?
Is decorating a Christmas tree part of a pagan tradition?

Our family celebrate Christmas for the following reasons:

  1. Father Christmas's is the very personification of Christmas, bringing gifts and wishes of LOVE, JOY and PEACE. Father Christmas always knows exactly what we want and he always brings the right gift! Why do we not take the time to share with children the story of Jesus and the perfect gifts of His promise: "I shall never need". Christ is the persona of LOVE, JOY and PEACE and goodwill to all mankind. Let's share the source of the LOVE, JOY and PEACE!
2. God instructed Israel to have certain feasts (not Christmas) where they had to be Happy, which suggests we do not know how to be happy. Too many Christians are depressed and focussed on the negative. I was shocked to find out how many people I know are on antidepressants. By default that says to me "we as people don't know how to be happy anymore, even in the core of our heart". We do not understand "in His presence is fullness of joy" or "the joy of the Lord is my strength". Lets use this time to focus on been joyful.
3. If I don't celebrate the birth of Jesus, how can I celebrate His death? If the accuracy of the date is a stumbling block for you, you need to question your entire calendar, as Jesus was not born in the year 00 either, which by default messes up all our BC and AD dates!
4. Easter, Christmas, weddings and funerals are the only times you really get people into church who will never enter church at other times. Only catch: some minister/rev/bishop/pastor's don't see it as an opportunity to preach the gospel in its power to attract the unsaved. I've found the Gospel preached in power has never offended people. Christians make it an offense. One of the spiritually most influential people in my life got saved on Christmas day. He only went to church because it was the "right" thing to do with his family. Today he is sharing the gospel wherever he goes. Always find a reason in world system to turn people's focus to salvation, because that is why Jesus died!
5. Decorating a Christmas tree stems from a pagan tradition according to Jeremiah. Worldwide people recognise 25 December as the day of Jesus birth. Putting up lights, trees etc are all part of the pagan tradition I agree, but so is 80% of what we do and have in our churches, starting with the church building, finance, number of people and believe it or not, even the pulpit! Having worship in a church and not bringing in God's presence is also pagan worship. But you don't see the religious folks moaning about those pagan traditions. Most Christians are not even aware that some of what I have mentioned are pagan traditions. Most of them strive after more of all those points including pulpit time which to them is a form of "success" only because they don't understand God's "success" is actually prosperity in the purest form.
Solution: substitute the christmas tree for a nativity scene.
If we cannot celebrate and decorate for Jesus, do we have a right to put up balloons, banners, cakes, have theme parties for us and our children on our birthdays? (If your issue is the validity of the date, no historian or theologian have been able to determine the exact date of Jesus Birth)
6. I understand it is a season that many feel pressured into giving bigger and better gifts, going into credit and thus going into bondage, but in our home, it is a season of growing your faith and blessing people. We believe we are blessed to be a blessing for every good work (2 Cor 9v8: abundance for every good work). We decide which needs we would like to fulfill and we faith in the need on behalf of that family. We don't have an abundance of cash, but we do bless with what we have so we can be a testimony to people who are believing God for a miracle. I haven't had a phone for 8 months and the weekend I got blessed with a BB 9700. When I share this testimony with people especially teenagers (cause they all want a BB), I tell them I faithed mine in while they have to pay R1500 for theirs! They respond to the faith message, because they have seen it in action! It is a testimony that grips them and I am suddenly in a position to teach them about God's faithfulness when you sowing. They actually listen when they see the reaping!
7. With the world removing Jesus out of everything, it is a wonderful reminder to people to actually "be nice & giving" to each other. A message the world doesn't spread, but which is a reflection of God's heart. It is a time of year where people are more generous to charities, domestics, workers, poor etc. (Give to the poor and the Lord will repay, Look after widows and orphans, have an abundance to bless every good work)
I think we as God-fearing believers should celebrate and spread the real reason for Christmas by been a true reflection of God's heart by giving and been joyful!
It's not about running up debt by buying unaffordable gifts to impress, it's a time where we can stretch our faith to help others, that way we a testimony of "blessed to be a blessing". Freely I've received, freely I give.

ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER?

I have a degree... of course I'm smarter than a 5th Grader!

Within this week, I realised a 5th grader was smarter than me!

From mid January 2012, my theme for the year has been "break every chain". I really felt God was dealing with me to break strongholds in my life, the lives of our family and when we ministered, we had to "break every chain". If that was not the outcome of our activities for 2012, it was almost as if we would miss God's purpose for us.

We recently had an entrepeneurs Day at school and we held a raffle. When we drew the names of the winner, a Grade 5 boy, (for the sake of his privacy) lets call him John, won the prize. John had never been friendly to me or my children and his mother had on various occasions outright ignored me, so when John won, my thought was "oh you". Not as excited as I would have been if someone close to me.
The workers at the stalls told me later they were really excited John had won as he told them when he bought the ticket "his family have never won anything and he had decided he was going to break that curse today by winning this raffle"

Rapped over the knuckles, I reflected back over the events. John had used our raffle as his point of contact to break a stronghold over his family, exactly what God had told our family was our focus for 2012. So it just goes to show, that our human nature can still be selective about who we would like to be blessed and who we don't think should be blessed

So in this event, a 5th Grader tapped into the spirit realm to break bondages over his family when I was not even feeling spiritual!
When God says "break every chain", you carry power to do so even when you are not focussed on the spiritual!
Yep...I had to start repenting again!

It is the presence of Jesus in you to "break every chain" because the anointing breaks the yoke. You might think it a coincidence that this happened, but there were more than 10 raffles out there that day, and he chose ours!

Deliverance from a Fiery Furnace?

Daniel 3 is our storyline.

We all know the story of Shadrach, Meshack and Abed-nego and the fiery furnace, so I am not going to retell the story.

The part that fascinates me whenever I think of this story is the part that follows after King Nebuchadnezzar, full of fury commands the furnace to be made seven times hotter! (v19)

After the King commands his “most mighty men” (v20) to cast our 3 friends into the burning furnace, the King’s “most mighty men” are all killed by the heat of the furnace (v22).

Time to stop and ponder: our 3 friends were bound hand and foot (v21), so they had to be helped/carried/assisted to the edge of the furnace. Our 3 friends were the only ones left standing close to the furnace after watching these “most mighty men” fall down dead around them from the heat.
Now if it was me, this would be going through my mind:

“Oh yeah King! You see! I told you my God would deliver me!”
(v17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace , and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king)

At that point, I would have summarised the situation very quickly and realised, not one of the Kings other men would have come close to me to throw me into the furnace, their friends were lying dead at my feet! If I decided to at this particular point, to actually plead my case with the King, he would probably have listened because he would not want to die throwing me in the furnace. He knew at that particular point, he was in a very negotiable position as to making him look really powerful or really powerless before his entire nation.

Me, I would have thought that God had started opening the door for my deliverance with the guards dying, because at that point, the 3 friends were in a position of power.
Looks like the Son of God in the Fire (v25)

And our 3 friends?

They decided to throw themselves into the fire without the help of the “most mighty men” of the king or without any further assistance! (v23)

The end result we know, they walk around in the fire with Jesus.

When we go through “fiery situations”, we are inclined to expect God’s deliverance before the flames reach us, but sometimes God has a bigger picture in mind than our immediate comfort zone.

A New Testament version of this Old Testament story.

Read John 18:1-6

Judas is coming out to betray Jesus into the hands of the Pharisees with a band of men, soldiers and weapons.

(v 6) As soon then as Jesus had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.
At that particular point, Jesus was free to escape as all who had come out to take Him captive, where lying on the ground, out under the power that came on Jesus when He took up His full authority by saying “I am He!”

Image

In both stories, God had a bigger plan of redemption in place than the individuals involved’s deliverance out of that particular situation.

In the 1st story a nation got to know a new God, and in the 2nd story, all the nations were freed from the curse of the law of sin and death through the death of Jesus on the cross.

Going through our trials and our own “fiery furnaces”, when we get to that point where there seems to be a deliverance from our immediate circumstances and we can walk away almost “justified” or “redeemed” or “vindicated”, we need to be very sensitive to the Holy Spirit and listen what God’s perfect purpose is for the situation.

Sometimes the battles we fight are not just designed to bring us into freedom, but also the people around us. If we walk away at the 2nd best deliverance, we might miss God’s best for our lives and the lives of others.

God always gives us the choice. We can stay and go through the trail, or at a point, we can walk away. Walking away frees us and no one else. But going through, potential frees the entire body of Christ with the new truth you have learnt.

At what point in your fiery trail, do you consider yourself “delivered”?

BREAKTHROUGH - BY CHANGING YOUR SEED

Hi Guys!!!
This is a 20 minute message I shared at a recent Breakthrough Fire Conference we hosted!

Many of us are repeatedly reaping cycles in our lives that we do not enjoy, such as anger, bitterness, resentments, judgments, strife and division. If you do not like what you are reaping, change your seed. If you do not like what you are reaping, change your seed.

I look forward to hearing some positive testimonies from the change of fruit in your life!

much luv
janine

Jayde’s favourite place…Back on the floor in God‘s presence
I’ve posted these photos not to show case my daughter, Jayde. I’ve posted them to create an awareness amongst believers with regard to God’s presence, and the youth that are hungry for Him.
Jayde has her own “little ministry” that she heads up called “FYI presents…” which is a video devotional for Believers. Originally started for teenagers, it has now become popular across all age groups, averaging 1500 – 2500 views a week on various social networks, (including Youtube, Godtube, Inchristnetwork and Inchrist) depending on how many videos we produce in that week.
I’ve posted these pictures to bring an awareness:
  1. God is still moving and there are people hungry for His presence.
  2. Some of our youth are still hungry for God! Don’t write all the youth off! Encourage them and pray for the youth you do know to have an encounter with God. Jayde is not the only one. I saw 100′s last week weep before God in His presence.
  3. Jayde does not minister from a “head full of correct christianese“; she has had her own encounters with God from a baby and still has regular, if not daily, encounters with God.
  4. She ministers from a place of having experienced the Holy Spirit and not from her parents, pastors or friends testimonies. Nothing is secondhand. She gets her own fresh revelation from God.
  5. Having these experiences as public as these, God is raising her up publicly so when she steps into her full function, the Body of Christ have already watched the growth over years.
  6. When our Youth minister, dont knock them or judge them, many of them have been in the secret place of the most High, and have a very relevant message to share if we open our hearts!

Get hungry for God! Have your own 1-on-1 encounter with Him! It’s Life Changing!

NOT SURE WHAT I DID RIGHT OR IF JESUS DID IT ALL WITHOUT MY HELP!

Hubby and I recently went, by invitation to host a Fire Conference. Well more accurately, hubby does the Fire Conference and I do the video thing….
But, 3 days before the Fire Conference, the Weather Bureau predicted floods in that area for the weekend. Even up to 4 hours before the Fire Conference we were wondering if we should not cancel because of the amount of rain that had already fallen.

Some of the flood damage on the way to the conference
Deciding the pastor of the church that invited us would cancel it if he considered it a problem; we went ahead and travelled to the city.
Travelling to the Fire Conference we rode through water up to the bottom level of the car door to get to the venue. The rain did not just pour, it was cold! And there where not enough people to keep the warmth in the building. So wet and cold was the theme of the weekend.
Because of the downpour, we told our children to stay at home. At the end of the Friday night meeting, I got a bbm from my son “Mommy I’m sick! When you coming home?” Not the message you want to hear when you are ministering, because in the natural, you cannot do anything until the end of the meeting.
Knowing sickness is the devil stealing our health, and in this case, our son’s health and distracting us from ministering effectively through the flood and the sickness, we went home to go pray for him.
Saturday he was fine during the day, so we are back at the Fire conference on Saturday evening.
After prophesying and ministering, we head home after receiving a bbm “Mom, my head is sore!” to find our son passed out in the chair not been able to move without loosing his balance.
But this time he is very upset, as every time he tried to sleep, he would have this reoccurring dream of the devil locking him in a box and he would wake up all panicked.
After praying for him again, and his temperature not subsiding, I put him to bed and sat in the bedroom with him praying in tongues. After about 20min of sitting in the dark praying for him, I left the room to go get some coffee…and all I heard was yells that I was not listening to his dream. Even though I tried to explain to him that I did listen to his dream and that he had fallen asleep, he kept insisting I had walked out half way through him telling me his dream. So I said to him, “You keep having a dream where the devil locks you in a cage, so I’ve been sitting here praying for you”.
“No you didn’t listen to the rest of my dream. When the devil locked me in the cage, Jesus came and unlocked it and said to the devil: “you have no right to put sickness on him. He belongs to Me” and Jesus unlocked the cage and said to me “Come out and Be healed” “

Mom and Son
All I can do is Praise God that He does so much better at teaching my children revelations than we can ever dream of doing it! A revelation or rhema word like that in a child’s life, gives them an understanding and an authority they would never ever doubt or question further down their walk with God!
Thank you Jesus!
(the rest of the story is obvious :D )

First the Fathers...

We all know the importance of the Father figure. It is regularly preached off the pulpit: "how you related to your earthly Father is how you relate to Father God"

9 years ago my child's play school sent letters home asking Dads to please spend time with their children as the children at school are saying "Dad leaves before I wake up and gets home after I am sleeping" - Logical deduction: they very seldom see their Dads. Conclusion: God is a absent Father/God.

The devil has been successful in removing the Dads with the logical reasoning of "Dad has to bring the money in for us to live". I recently asked 150 people of various ages and population for their favorite Father/Child memory. I was shocked !!! More than half of the ones that replied (and my response to that question was tremendous) told me that they have no memory of their Father! More than two thirds replied their Dads were drunk or abusive towards them and they don't have a happy memory. About 10 people responded with really pleasant memories!

Now we know the devil succeeded....

The next trend I've notices in the last 10 years plus is just as bad as the Father trend. For many years if the Father worked hard or was absent, at least the Mother was at home to love and accept the Children.

Now days Moms are working harder than Dads and by the time they get home, they are too tired and the children are "rejected" again for either a sleep, household chores such as cooking or washing or shopping, a TV program, a social engagement, gym or school sport!

Some questions to think about:

Has the devil managed to succesfully remove the "Wall of protection" that the parents should create for the children?

Are our children been raised as I would classify as "orphaned or abandoned" as neither parent is there for their children?

Is it easier for us as parents to go to a full time job than to raise our own children?

When the Bible says "train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it", what is "THE WAY" that we as Christian parents are raising our children in? Neglect, abandonement, love deprived?

When do I actually love my children?

Children imitate their parents. Are they learning "people are not important"?

Personally, I think it is easier going to work. Because when I see the challenges my children have had to face, I have never had the right answer to the situations. It has been hard work forcing myself to enquire from God how my child must handle their situations. It has meant I've had to spend time in the Word to find Biblical answers! Hard...because like every parent...I also want an easier life, with more luxuries and less responsibility.
I have had to learn to love my children when I don't want to love anything! When I have felt so empty because of the blows life has dealt me!
I've had to find the strength to tell them tomorrow is going to be ok when I did not know when the light at the end of the tunnel was going to appear.
I have had to learn what ever I say my children process and reproduce...life or death. What was I investing in their futures?

It takes time, patience and deliberate effort to love my children. And sometimes it gets the better of me, but then I remember: Jesus gave us one commandment: "Love one another" and what better place to start than loving my own little people. The reward for me has been I've learnt more about God and me than what I could ever impart into them! They are so rewarding to love!

Our children are amazing...let's love them more!!!

Weight loss, Weight loss tips, Fast Weight Loss versus God's perspective on Weight Loss

One of the most searched terms in Google are the phrases: weight loss, weight loss tips, best weight loss program, and our favorite: Fast Weight Loss!!!

In fact: it is searched for an average of 50 000 times a day!!!

There are a lot of unhappy, fat people out there! Been unhappy with ourselves is often expressed in our dissatisfaction with our weight, and that can lead us into a bondage. We often relate our success, acceptance; failures directly to our weight loss, weight gain, cheating.

Weight Loss, Need fast weight loss tips
Most of us feel like this
when we climb on a scale
As someone who has battled with weight problems since my pregnancies, I determined in my heart that there had to be a Godly solution to the problem! I would feel unworthy to minister the gospel because I don't look like Jennifer Aniston, but then again I don't exercise and eat like Jennifer Aniston! I would feel like I've accomplished the world when I loose 10kg's and feel like the world's biggest failure putting it all back again.
God made it very simple for me. He asked me if I thought He had a plan for my life. "Yes" was my automatic reply. Next question was "if the plan for your life is this 100% (Let's say 100% for sake of fullness and perfection), if you fulfill My life's plan for you by 90%, would you be accomplishing all I wanted you to do?"
NO
"What is stopping you from doing it?"
Very careful consideration went into answering this question.
"And what happens if I planned for you to live to 80, but you die of a heart attack at 60 because you are too overweight?". God responded.
Suddenly, I was able to see weight loss through God's eyes. It had nothing to do with what I looked like, what I eat, how much I exercised or what figures the scale threw back at me. It had to do with me been physically capable of doing and executing what God has asked me to do in my life.
So my focus should always be my prize at the end of my race when I get to heaven.
If it is my best friend’s birthday and I want to have a piece of birthday cake with her, I can now do it without feeling guilty. As long as I am able to display the fruits of the spirit after the food I've eaten, I am still in God's plan. What do I mean? Many of us react to sugar, processed wheats, stimulants etc in our food etc and we often become grumpy, irritable or even sick from the types of food we’ve eaten. So, the general rule now becomes, I need to remain a reflection of God’s glory after the food I’ve eaten. No snapping at people, no offish attitudes, no lethargy etc.
Eating in moderation is good. Eating healthy choices are good as it all helps me fulfill God's 100% plan for my life. Not exercising ensures I do not fulfill God's plan for my life.
Excersing
Exercise for the Godly reason
But, excessive exercising replaces my acceptance into God's family and makes me put my acceptance and accomplishments in my looks. We all like pretty and beautiful, but the only perfection we should be striving for, is reflecting God.
If I am an excessive exerciser, dieter or eater, am I fulfilling a void in my life, because both scenarios are sin. The one is not more “right” or “godly” than the other. All scenarios are replacing a void in my life because they are all rooted in an addiction.
So now:
If you are overweight, really be honest with yourself and admit why. Find your answer in the Word of God.
Let's talk straight to God and each one of us get to a place where we can get to a lifestyle where I can reach all God has planned for me.
For some of us it might mean going through a lot of forgiving of others, because in doing that, we also set ourselves free.
Doing it God's way means when I make a mistake, I have not failed.
Rom 8v1: There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit
The new me
Can I truelly become the Woman God
wants Me to be?
A simple prayer of repentance gets me on the right path and I keep going with my eyes focussed on My Race, My prize. My eyes won't be focussed on the scale or on the size 00 model in the magazine.
It means, I plan my exercise, I plan my eating habits, and I have the strength to change the bad ones so that I can stand before God one day and He say to me: Well done Good and faithful servant! You have done all I have asked you to do!
For some of us: It means we need to start exercising our NO!
There is a Godly me trying to come out!
Be Blessed!!!

Supernatural (Part 1): THE RICH YOUNG RULER

Luke 18:18-23
18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God.
20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother.
21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up.
22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
The same story can be found in Matt 19 v 16 - 29; Mark 10 v 17 - 30

As Part 1 of the Supernatural series, I've chosen this passage of scripture to start prodding your Spirit. Many times when we read the Bible, it is treated as a prescribed reading book at school. I read what I need to enabling me to answer the test /exam questions that follow. Please read the passage with the following intent in your heart: "Holy Spirit, please show me during the next month what my attitude towards money, riches and giving is"

The 1st points I would like you to consider is:
  • If I was the rich young ruler, would I have gone and sold all my possessions and given the money to the poor.
  • How easy would it have been for me to obey Jesus command, or would I have become sorrowful.
Some other points of consideration:
  • How do I feel and respond when someone around me is blessed.
  • When I need something, is my first thought "Oh no, now I have to spend more money"
  • When someone asks for something, what is your first thought.
  • Have you ever looked at something that you have needed and wanted, but in your heart accepted the fact that you will never have it.
  • How do you feel about giving to a beggar, to an orphanage, to a church, to individuals.
  • Have you ever confessed "money does not grow on trees".
  • Do you go to work only so that you can earn a salary at the end of the month.
  • Would you get up in the morning and go to work if no one paid you.
  • Have you ever received any money over and above your paycheck.
  • Are you a cheerful giver.
  • In your heart, if I gave you a million rand cheque today, would your 1st response be that all your problems are now solved.
  • What one thing in your life do you need right now that would solve all or most of your problems.
  • How much seed do I really have in the ground.
  • If I have an unexpected expense, do I trust God to provide.
  • Have I ever done spiritual warfare to claim back what the devil has stolen from me.
  • Do I know what the devil has stolen from me.
These points may seem strange and somehow not connected at all to the supernatural. But I have my perspective on the supernatural which does not include some of the standard "supernatural" ideas. I am going to be posting a couple of thought provoking posts to encourage the beautiful believers reading these posts to just start a different thought pattern. The Holy Spirit takes you on a wonderful journey once you open your spirit for instruction and education by the Holy Spirit. Everybody's journey is different. Revelations are not the same. We all have them at different times regarding different topics resulting in different outcomes. But it is the same Holy Spirit, it is us that are different, not the Holy Spirit.
To me the supernatural is not about finance, but we as people only consider been blessed when we receive money. By the end of the series, I will bring the "money" into context into the supernatural - in the context that I see it. I will be dealing with various issues such as justice, healing, education, government, churches and employment. I will be taking each issue and sharing my supernatural theories.
This part is not part of the Supernatural teaching, but I liked the pictures I found, so I included it for the pictures :-D
Luke 18:24-25:
24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Don't Ever Give Up

Watching helplessly as friends and family go through hard times is probably one of the hardest things for a person to do graciously. Every time its happened to me, I've felt very helpless and clueless as I have never known how to deal with it. I've learnt advice never helps and prayer has always felt so hopeless in these difficult predicaments I've found myself facing with people who often mean the world to me. Well, this January was no different.

If I read the Bible correctly, my God is a victorious God, He loves people and only Blessed them! So why are so many of His people taking strain under yokes of bondages. This time I watched a family very dear to me get ripped apart through lies! But in the spirit God had shown me the calling He had on this family about 6 months prior.

So when this onslaught came, I got mad that the devil was going to win again. I did not like that very familiar feeling of helplessness and powerless, because in my heart, I believe in my God!

They say the definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, so I sat and meditated on the Word and decided the first thing in, is definitely prayer. So I started praying. But that did not change the helplessness. I still felt like I was not changing anything in the spirit.

So I decided to start fasting. My hubby is very familiar with fasting, he's been fasting every second day for 4 years now. Me? I'm not so keen on it! Because of that helpless feeling getting the better of me again, I decided to join him. No lies, no sugar coating, no stories of heroism! ...it was tough!

I had to not just keep my focus on why I was fasting (that's was to break the bondages over my friends lives) but during that time, I was faced with overcoming the greatest challenge of my spiritual walk: witchcraft (not sure if it was all connected in the spirit).

We had 7 weeks of utter chaos and confusion in our home, but I decided we had started on this journey, we had to complete it God's way! In the 1st week of March i felt the 1st signs of release as if the battle for my friends had been won. But the picture in the natural did not line up with the release I felt. By end of March the family where back together praising the Lord once more and I realised the most important lessons ever:
1. I can make a difference to someone by never giving up on them.
2. If I call myself a leader in the christian faith, I need to be prepared to walk the extra mile for someone God loves to break spiritual strongholds over those I relate to.
3. I learnt to keep my mouth shut. Not once did the family know I was praying and fasting for them (they still don't know). Not once did I tell them they were not where God wanted them or that they were sinning. I only confessed the calling that God had shown me earlier.
4. I learnt, if you desperate enough, you'll do it!

I am glad I learnt these lessons. God has restored the peace in my home supernaturally & brought my entire family through victorious. Praise the Lord for His goodness.

But I've also learnt I have the ability to help people if I'm prepared to crucify my own flesh by getting out of my own comfort zones.

I found this scripture in Isaiah 58v6:
6 "Is this not the fast which I choose,
To loosen the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the bands of the yoke,
And to let the oppressed go free
And break every yoke?

I like being in the "yoke destroying, breaking every chain" business because I've seen results, lasting results.

Don't ever give up on a person that God loves! He can use you to make a difference. You do not have to go as severe as what I did, fasting every 2nd day! But start to fight for the ones you love!

IN AWE OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS - MODERN DAY ABRAHAM AND ISAAC

Arthur kept on reminding me today that I need to post a new post on my blog. Judging by my reaction he asked if I don’t have anything to write about. Well… I did, in fact I wanted to say something about the Cricket World Cup. But by the time I arrived home, the subject changed as a parcel had been delivered.
Arthur and his "presents"
Knowing the content, we eagerly ripped it open and amidst a scurry and flying of shredded paper, unpacked a brand new video camera and mic. All sounds very normal to people who can relate to receiving a parcel they have ordered and paid for.

This parcel is different!

Before our very eyes, God was busy resurrecting a vision that has been laid on the alter and killed many times over and over. Abraham and Isaac! At least 20 times over!

It was the fulfilment of prophetic words given twenty years ago, years before we were even married. It had been confirmed over and over through the years. And still it had to get laid on the alter and die several deaths (many times, very painful deaths).
Mic and Video Recorder
We have a vision to spread the gospel for free and part of our method to spread it, is by doing what we’ve titled as “250 Foundational Topics” - 5 years worth of Bible School material FREE in the format of your choice. Your options will be to download in DVD or MP3 or PDF format. The purpose of the 3 different formats is for people on all continents (as is currently happening) to be able to download the format they are most able to manage and to work through the content and to be able to GROW as a Christian.

We needed the video camera to start recording the 27 min dvd’s session and the mic to continue and complete recording the MP3 recordings (which are a hitting large numbers of downloads every month on our webpage).

We started with what we had, a laptop and a shure mic and the encouragement of a friend, and only on topic nr 90 did God come through for us to be able to fulfil the rest of the vision.

To follow the fulfillment of this vision: http://fathersheart.co.za under Apostolic Downloads.
Book 1 (Topics 1 - 50) has already been printed 4 times. Book 2 (Topics 51-100) and Book 3 (Topics 101 - 150) are currently been edited to be sent to the printers later this month.

The morale of this blog:
If you have a promise from God that has not been fulfilled yet, I can’t give you a magic formula or a time frame or anything to tell you when it is going to happen. I do not even have the knowledge to tell you it is not going to happen.
But will it happen? Yes, if God has said it and you continue believing and confessing it, it will happen.

How did it all come together for us?
We had to trust that God HAD SAID!
We had to believe that God HAD SAID!
We had to confess everytime the natural looked different to the spoken word, WE HAD TO CONFESS THE WORD OF GOD!

The seed sown in our particular situation, was the spoken Word of God.
Where there times when I did not believe that God could do it? Many! I battled to believe that God would lie to me and I also battled to believe that God was allowing all the deaths on the alters if He had said it. I could not reconcile the two. But I chose to continue believing that God would be faithful to do it in His time.

Were there times when I could sit down and just cry? Probably more than I will remember. The road was not easy. I’m not saying that we have by any means arrived yet. Don’t get me wrong here. This is just the birthing place of the vision that God spoke through prophetic word 20 years ago.
Every time things looked different in the natural, we would fetch out our prophetic words and starting speaking LIFE into the spirit realm over our situation.

Lying ahead for us is much more that we still need to learn, still need to conquer, and you have probably guessed, still need to lay on the altar again until God’s appointed time, but what has it done. It has shown me that my time in not God’s time. And when I least expected, it happened. It came at a time where we both had decided to make peace with our circumstances and to be found faithful doing the “little” things around us wherever and whenever we could. I realised if you are not starting at the little things God told you to do, you won’t get to the “bigger” things God told you to do.

If you look at the pictures, they just look like a birthday present been opened, but if you look at the whole picture of God’s faithfulness, all you can do is stand in awe of Him been faithful to fulfil His Word.
What I want to leave you with is this:
If God has said it, He will perform it. God is Faithful! The Lord will Provide!
Many blessing to you all!

How God showed Me that He Loved Me

Well, what a week it has been! From glory to glory and all I can say is " Thank you Jesus that you love me enough to die for me and make available to me all the benefits of your resurrection power"
I've been sitting under the anointing in the "Days of Glory" conference in East London.

On Saturday night, Apostle Maldondo taught on "Fathers". I had a blessing as a Father, but knowing God can do anything if you open your heart, I said to God, deal with whatever you want to. I just want your presence!

I fell to my knees and started sobbing the presence of God was so strong!
I've been battling with a relationship in my life where I have been blatantly rejected repeatedly over and over. Every couple of months I have a outburst and then I bring it back to the cross and ask God to take care of it. This time He did.

After writing the post "It is Finished", I've been bringing a lot of areas to closure in my life and this was one of the areas I'd asked God to deal with because it was just to big for me to deal with.

That Saturday night, He gave me "revelational" knowledge about what happened on the cross. He told me He rejected Jesus when He turned away from looking at him. And my heart cried "Why?" And He said because Jesus was covered in sins, and sin cannot stand in God's presence! I mentally knew all this, but it was still a reality that I was rejected, and now, so was Jesus, and at that point, in my perspective, we were both STILL rejected! I still missed Gods point!

But the picture changed as fast as the thoughts were going through my mind and I saw God turning His face away from Jesus on the cross, and in slow motion, the space that He was looking towards started been illuminated and I saw God looking at me.

It took a couple of minutes and God said to me, "I rejected my Son because I chose to accept you" and once again the reality that I got chosen above Jesus in that day, just broke me, and healed me in the same instant.

I got up off the floor and I knew the Spirit of Rejection was broken over me forever. Never to ever raise its head again because God rejected His Son to accept ME!
Now I'm not just healed, I am made whole!
Thank you Jesus!

God will restore 7 fold what the enemy has stolen!

I recently received a prophetic word that God was going to restore 7 -fold what the devil had taken.

Great word! I was thrilled! Jumped up and down. Shared it with Arthur. We were very excited about it. It was the first word on restoration I had received in 7 years. For 7 years, it had been either silence or our words had been: “you are in the battle; God says you have been faithful”. Nothing revelational there! You know when you are in the battle. You don’t need a prophetic word to confirm it!

I knew the devil had stolen from us. It was almost as if everything was been sucked down into this black hole of nothingness. As I am very much a stickler for it that if God speaks, I act! , I started to act on my prophetic word. I sat down and made a list of all that the devil had stolen. Not because I was greedy, just because I wanted a visual list in front of my eyes to be able to thank God for His 7- fold restoration every time I laid my eyes on the visual.

My “stolen goods list” looked along this line:
We all like the idea of living in a
"Smart House"

- Houses
- Cars
- Money
- Clothes
- Make up
- Health (from been under constant stress)
- Medical Aid
- Insurance
- Holidays
- Jewelry
- I’m very tempted to list my hairdresser! (long story)
- Our Jobs
- Our Name
- Our reputation
- Bedding
- TV’s, carpets, furniture
- Food

But a strange emotion occurred when I started the list.

It started with the Health aspect. I really wanted (not needed) to have some dental work done, and the thought that kept on crossing my mind: “I can pay to have dental work done, but if I trust God, God will do it for free. Flip the coin, if I pay, the devil is stealing MONEY from me again, because I’m spending money on Health when God promises me:

Ps 103:5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

REVELATION (yet again): I DID NOT NEED TO PAY MONEY FOR DENTAL WORK; GOD COULD DO IT FOR FREE!

2nd on my list was my family's health & stress related symptoms. I kept on hearing this quiet whisper: " but my Son has paid the price for your healing." 1 Pet 2:24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins,

might live for righteousness-- by whose stripes you were healed.

REVELATION (yet again): You don’t need to pay MONEY for medication when Jesus paid the price in FULL FOR MY HEALING! ONLY BELIEVE!

Next up was the houses and the cars:

God just said: If I’ve called you to be a sojourner through this earthly land, do you need a house and a car? Yes, u do, but God provides all the way! The question God challenged me with was "you trust God to provide a house and a car?"

Another issue sorted! God was ticking them off my list at an alarming rate!

The JOB, MEDICAL AID and INSURANCE we had to deal with 6 years ago. We had to learn to live by faith. Arthur and I felt for US (not for you, but for OUR FAMILY) God was saying, I want you to rely on ME for your daily provision, and a roof over your head.
The name and the reputation was sorted out by when I found the following scripture:
Isa 61:7
For your shame ye shall have double; ...
KJV

It was a TOUGH LESSON to learn.

When the restoration word came, the Holy Spirit whispered: “do you really want to go back to the bondage of a salary, medical aid and insurance? Do you really want to trade all the lessons you’ve learnt living by faith for a lifestyle of just enough (salary) and of having a backup plan incase I don’t work? (Medical Aid & Insurance)”

My response was: but what happens if it all gets stolen (insurance)!

WRONG QUESTION!

“If the devil has stolen from you and you have learnt to live by faith, you are able to faith it all back! And once again, I will restore more that the devil took! What have you really lost?” was quietly offered as an answer.

The devil cannot rob me of my FAITH in God!

As the Holy Spirit made mince meat of all of my "stolen goods to be restored 7 Fold" points, the only thing I came up with what had truelly been stolen (BY FAITH God could heal and replace all of the rest, I only had to BELIEVE) was my RELATIONSHIPS! (and the Holy Spirit just proved to me once again that I did not know God well enough to trust Him to restore)

The devil has stolen many of our (ours & the children's) relationships with family and friends.

The crux of my list left me once again realising:

GOD IS ONLY INTERESTED IN PEOPLE!

Only when I had started "seeking 1st the kingdom of God" had I received the promise of 7-fold restoration. Only once I started leading people to the Lord, praying for the sick, started preaching the good news of the Gospel, - all the things important to God, did the promise of restoration come.

Once my sights were focussed on what God saw as important, PEOPLE, not just people, but where people would spend eternity, how I treated individuals, what words of life had come out of my mouth to sow life etc, He sorted out the rest.

All else comes down to my faith level in “ONLY BELIEVE”

Matt 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The reality check I experienced was we all equate Restoration 7 - fold to Finance/Money! Even with all the lessons I've experienced in the last 7 years, I really needed to shift my thinking into "the mind of Christ" before thinking of "things to be added to me"

Now, I can truelly look forward to God restoring each and every relationship, and *SEVEN FOLD BONUS!* adding many more because He promised He would restore 7 fold all that the devil had stolen!

*Bonus* Look after people (saved & unsaved/rich & poor/lovely & unlovely/goodlooking & ugly) and God looks after your needs!
