FATHER'S HEART OUTREACH FRIDAY NIGHT

During a outreach on Friday night, 150 teenagers made Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour and decided to make a difference in their schools, families, friends and cities.

After the alter call they went into high praise singing ONE WAY JESUS! What a priviledge to be able to make a confession like that!

PRAISE THE LORD FOR HIS GOODNESS AND MERCY!

THERE IS NO GOOD IN THE SPIRIT

How often do we hear off a pulpit: “a GOOD man will not go to heaven, you can only go to heaven if you have accepted Jesus and confessed Him with your mouth”.

If a GOOD man cannot go to heaven, what does that say for your GOOD DEEDS?

Matt 12:43-45
43      "When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.
44      "Then he says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' And when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.
45      "Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it also be with this wicked generation."
(NKJ)

In the above parabel, the man cleans his house (doing a GOOD DEED) but the demon returns and finds it in order and brings back 7 other spirits with him.

If the man had filled his house with GOD’s presence, there would not have been place for the demons to return.

In life, we cannot continue to do GOOD THINGS/DEEDS, we need to do GODLY actions to keep the demonic oppression out of our lives:

Here are some guidelines where to stop doing GOOD, but to start doing GODLY ACTIONS or DEEDS:

Luke 6:27-38
27      "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
28      "bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.
29      "To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either.
30      "Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.
31      "And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.
32      "But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.
33      "And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
34      "And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.
35      "But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.
36      "Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.
37      "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
38      "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."
(NKJ)

Meditate on Matt 5,6,7 for further GODLY ACTIONS.

If you are doing GOOD or the NOTHING action in a situation, you are only delaying or adding to the demonic oppression to come at a later stage. If we do the GODLY action, we are constantly keeping away the negative oppression

Remember: THERE IS NO NEUTRAL IN THE SPIRIT, thus doing NOTHING in a situation is just as good as doing EVIL in a situation, because they both have the same results, the one just SLOWER than the other.

Only doing the GODLY action will bring about a change in the Spirit and in your physical situation.

BRINGING BACK PERSPECTIVE

Don't loose perspective! "The devil is attacking me" comes so easy out of our mouths. For every devil that comes against you, there are 2 angels waiting to minister to you. All you need is to Confess God's word and they will go into action on your behalf.

THE REASON I LIVE

I live because I praise Him!

EMBRACE YOUR DESERT!

Our desert experiences to our natural mind are never a good experience. If we understand our desert experience, it helps us to embrace it and go through it with grace.

Not much is written in the Bible regarding the time of Jesus between 13-30 years of age, but Luke 2 gives us a clue.

Luke 2:52
52      And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Theologians agree that Jesus spent this time studying the Word, basically becoming a Bible scholar. After his 17 years of studying the Word, Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist and according to

Matt 4:1
“Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.”

David knew the Lord well as is established from various Psalms. While David was in the desert, he killed the lion and the bear.

Our time in the desert is for us to get grounded in our trust in God. Both Jesus and David practiced (or phrased different) exercised their faith and spiritual authority in the desert where no one saw. They both came out of the desert walking in power, authority and ability.

God takes us to the desert for the following reasons:
1.   To protect us and our walk in Faith (see Ex 13:17 &18).
2.   To teach us to totally depend on Him. The only way we depend on Him in the desert, is by starting to learn to walk in the Word that we have been taught prior to going to the desert.

Exod 13:17-18
17 Then it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God did not lead them by way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, "Lest perhaps the people change their minds when they see war, and return to Egypt."
18 So God led the people around by way of the wilderness of the Red Sea. And the children of Israel went up in orderly ranks out of the land of Egypt.

God lead us into the desert so that He becomes a reality to us (not us to Him, we need to know that we can depend on God) and so that we do not “go back to Egypt”, basically go back to our old ways of doing things.

In the desert, our lives change from learning the Word, to Walking in the Word. Basically, your walk now starts to match your talk. It all becomes heart knowledge and not just head knowledge anymore.

Overcoming in the desert is critical to our future walk with God. It is only after we have learnt to walk in the Spirit, that we can actually start taking on the real demonic enemies (not only in our lives, but also in the lives of all around us) that lie ahead of us in our walk with Jesus on earth.

Only after you have overcome in the desert, are you able to inhabit and live in your Promised Land.
When we walk in the Spirit, we need to KNOW THAT WE CAN TRUST GOD AT HIS WORD!
Embrace your desert and when you do not know what to do next whilst in your desert, stay faithful in doing well for in due season you will reap & confess God’s promises over you and your future.
Do not let any negativity come out of your mouth!
