BREAKTHROUGH AT CHRISTMAS

countdown

Christmas time again!!!!

For many, a time of looking at advertising brochures (especially the children looking at the gifts they want), a time of spending more money than we intended, a time of eating more than we should (the main culprits usually been the Christmas mince pies, Christmas cake, Christmas puddings and the ever guilty Christmas lunch), and for some a time of rushing and working long and tiring hours.

But for us as Christians, our spiritual association of Christmas is with the Birth of Jesus

(forget about if it is the right or wrong date, that is not the debate here) (refer to my blog post: It is Christmas Time).

As Christians, during this season, we take time out to reflect on the Birth of Jesus as the Miracle of the Christmas.

Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus
See Luke 1:26-35
But as is true with the entire Bible, there are multiple revelations of one event, everyone revealing a new truth in God and His Word.
God recently showed me a revelational side of Christmas I had never in the 22 years of being saved, ever discovered.
This key can be found in Luke 1 v 34:
“Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?”
We have read this line so many times over the years of Christmas and never connected Christmas with the key to breakthrough in our lives.
We know Mary conceived by the Holy Spirit, and in our minds, we immediately jump to v 35:
Luke 1 v 35
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
And we miss the importance of “how shall this be, seeing I know not a man?”
Having had a year where God told us we needed to “break every chain” in the Spirit, we’ve had to rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us during every meeting, on every camp, for every conference, in every situation we found ourselves in to be able to find the Godly key to breaking that particular stronghold we found ourselves in at that time.
God told me many people are trusting God for a Breakthrough in certain areas of their lives. But they are looking in the natural as to where the door is going to open. Or more accurately, they are looking for the “right” person, or the “right” connection or the “right” network to open doors for them. And that their breakthrough is not going to come through the “right”. Jer 17 v 5 tells us if we are not looking to God to bring about our breakthrough, but we are looking to the “right” to bring about our breakthrough, we actually open ourselves to a curse.
Jer 17 v 5
5 Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his strength and whose heart departs from the LORD (NKJV)

Your breakthrough is only going to come through the “Godly solution” of “The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee”

God is saying:

“Your breakthrough is only coming through My Spirit. I will open the doors for you in ways you have not been able to reason out. Be faithful and trust Me. I will bring the breakthrough you need by My Spirit”.
